The Checklist for Change

As the nine Democrat women in the U.S. Senate, my colleagues and I believe that it is time for a change in Washington: change in agenda, change in tone, and change in direction. That's what this "checklist for change" is all about. We are reaching across the aisle to our more conservative counterparts and changing our view of politics and our role in it. And here is our Checklist for Change:

Have Government Stay Out of our Lives

Remove Liberal Democrats from Office

Lower Taxes for those who are PAYING the most taxes

Enhance the military, the one item defined in the Constitution as being the responsibility of the Federal Government

Stop believing the Global Warming hysteria

Get illegal immigrants out of our country and CLOSE THE BORDER

Have the 2008 presidential election cycle completely discredit Hillary Clinton, and eventually reduce our numbers from nine Democrat women to eight Democrat women
